From 03.09.2023 to 10.09.2023, the Institute of Economic and Cultural Geography visited the Spanish metropolises and economic centres of Barcelona [BCN] and Madrid [MAD] with Leon Worbs and Chris Brück and a group of 25 students as part of the module "One-week excursion in economic geography" in order to discuss economic geography content from the Bachelor's degree programme in practice and to open up new topic areas.
During a total of nine excursion dates, practical insights were given into various economic geography areas, which were subsequently reflected on in detail in valuable discussions, including:
