Finally, another WiGeoH-Salon in presence - and the reception was pleasing: About 20 alumni as well as students of different study courses and subject semesters met on 9 May in seminar room 203 at Schneiderberg to learn first-hand about the professional field "Consultancy". WiGeoH had invited Fabian Böttcher (CIMA Institut für Regionalwirtschaft GmbH), Jasmin Kummer (Ernst&Young) and Lukas Röbke (Prognos AG), three alumni who once studied economic geography in Hanover and are now employed by renowned companies in the consulting industry. Moderated by board member Arne Schütt, an entertaining interplay of questions from the students and answers from the guests quickly developed. In short: a successful event organised by the WiGeoH, the Economic Geography Alumni Association in Hanover.
