The Annual International Conference of the Royal Geographical Society (with the Institute of British Geographers) took place in London from August 29th to September 1st. Under the central theme, “Climate Changed Geographies”, the RGS-IBG 2023 conference brought together over 2,000 researchers from around the world.
Prof. Dr. Peter Dirksmeier co-organized a session titled “The Bureaucratic Life of Climate Change” together with Prof. Dr. Leonie Tuitjer (University of Bremen), which brought together five speakers from the UK and Germany and evoked stimulating discussions. Dmitry Boyko's presentation, “Socio-Economic Differentiation of Mobility App Usage in the Hanover Region”, was part of the session “Spatial Impacts of Transport Innovations” and included preliminary results from the research project “Digital Access to Mobility”, conducted in collaboration with Assistant Prof. Dr. Kerstin Schäfer.
