Karolin Kautschmann and Sebastian Losacker have joined the Institute of Economic and Cultural Geography as new research fellows as of November 1st, 2018.
Karolin Kautzschmann studied Geography (B.Sc.) at Ludwig Maximilians University München und Economic and Social Geography (Geographies of Uneven Development) at Paris Lodron University Salzburg (M.Sc.) Since November she is lecturer and works on her dissertation project in the departement of Cultural and Social Geography. Her research interests cover financialisation processes on the housing market and social exclusion.
Sebastian Losacker studied Geography (B.Sc.) at Justus-Liebig University Giessen and Economic Geography (M.A.) at Leibniz University Hanover as well as at Universiteit Utrecht, Netherlands. Working in the department of Economic Geography, he is responsible for both conducting research and teaching. His research interests are mainly concerned about the geography of innovation.
