New research fellows: Angelina Göb and Lennard Stolz

Angelina Göb and Lennard Stolz have joined the Institute of Economic and Cultural Geography as new research fellows on January, 2019.

Angelina Göb (Dipl.-Geogr.) is a geographer. She studied geography, spatial development and soil science at the University of Bonn. Afterwards she worked as an urban planner in a municipal planning authority. She is a research associate at the ARL and is doing her doctorate on the topic of everyday life Suburbia. In the Department of Cultural and Social Geography, she is conducting research in a BMBF-funded, multidisciplinary and decentralised research network on the establishment of an "Institute for Social Cohesion (IfgZ)". Her research focuses on urban and social geography as well as qualitative social research.

Lennard Stolz studied Geography with a focus on Economic Geography (B.A.) as well Economic Geography (M.A.) at Leibniz University Hanover. After his M.A. he worked as a consultant in a leading market and opinion research company for one year. In his PhD thesis he will analyze the effects of Business Plan-Competitions on regional economy in the context of Entrepreneurial Eco-Systems. The research project will be funded by the ministry for economiy and cultures (MWK) program ‘Pro*Niedersachsen’.
