At the end of November 2024, our Institute hosted the 48th International Seminar in Economic Geography (ISEG). David Doloreux, Professor at HEC Montreal, stayed at the Institute from 25 to 29 November and spoke on daily changing aspects of the event title ‘Regional Innovation: Theories, empirics and policies’. David Doloreux's lectures were very entertaining, varied, very well coordinated in terms of content with the theory lecture (Prof. Sternberg) for the same target group of first-semester Master's students and received extremely positive ratings from the 23 participating students in the teaching evaluation. Thanks to the high quality of the student contributions and the exciting lectures by David Doloreux, this ISEG can be described as a complete success for everyone involved. The Institute would like to thank all participants and David Doloreux for his inspiring lectures and discussions.
