On February 22, 2021, Christian Teichert successfully defended his dissertation on "Labor market entry and spatial mobility of university graduates". The disputation, which took place online due to the pandemic, was led by the chairman of the committee Prof. Dr. Benjamin Burkhard. Further examiners were Christian Teichert''s doctoral supervisor Prof. Dr. Ingo Liefner and Prof. Dr. Stefan Hennemann (JLU Gießen). The thesis deals with factors influencing a successful transition from higher education to the labor market and uses a unique data set with administrative individual data mapping the educational and employment histories of up to 26,000 graduates.
