Launch of GEM National Report Germany 2019/20

Entrepreneurship in Germany and 49 other countries in 2019 is the focus of the new National Report Germany of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM), the world's largest research consortium on entrepreneurship. The authors, including Rolf Sternberg, Johannes von Bloh and Lennard Stolz based at the Economic Geography Department, describe in detail Germany's comparative strengths and weaknesses in terms of entrepreneurial activities and attitudes as well as entrepreneurial framework conditions, based on statistically representative adult population surveys (sample size 3,002) and assessments of 66 entrepreneurship experts in Germany.
