The GEOINNO is one of the top addresses to present the newest research in topics related to innovation and geography. This year, the GEOINNO stopped in the very north of Europe. Professor Rune Dahl Fitjar and his great time from the Business School at the University of Stavanger organized a fantastic 5th GEOINNO from 29 to 31 of January in Norway. Besides inspiring keynotes by Mercedes Delgado (Copenhagen Business School), César Hidalgo (University of Toulouse), Shiri M. Breznitz, Meric Gertler (both University of Toronto), Neil Lee (London School of Economics) und Alessandra Faggian (Gran Sasso Science Institute), the GEOINNO provided around 350 presentations to a variety of the most recent research topics. We are delighted that our institute was represented by Tatjana Bennat, Lukas Häfner, Barbara Heindl, Louis Knüpling, Sebastian Losacker, Lars Mewes and Kerstin Schäfer who all presented their latest research. We look forward to the next GEOINNO 2022 at the Bocconi University in Milan.
