38th International Seminar in Economic Geography (ISEG): Elisa Giuliani

Elisa Giuliani (University of Pisa) was guest of the  38th International Seminar in Economic Geography (ISEG) between May 6 and 10, 2019. In her seminar, entitled “Regional economic development, human rights and inequality”, Elisa Giuliano challenged economic growth as the primary indicator of regional well-being. She focused on the negative consequences of economic growth and introduced alternative concepts with particular focus on sustainability and human rights. The Institute would like to thank all 38 participating students and especially Elisa Giuliani for her inspiring talks and thoughts.
