Sebastian Losacker: New Publications

In his new paper ‘License to green: Regional patent licensing networks and green technology diffusion in China’ published in Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Sebastian Losacker analyzes the interregional diffusion of environmental innovations using methods from network theory. He shows that geographical proximity increases the probability and frequency of diffusion processes of green technologies. In this context, lead market structures can emerge, with a few innovative regions responsible for the broad diffusion of environmental innovations.

In another recent paper in Urban Research & Practice, Sebastian Losacker, together with Sarah Karic from Justus-Liebig University Giessen, investigates how green events can contribute to sustainable urban development and regional transition processes.
